Scott McCorkle MetaCX CEO

Scott currently serves as CEO of MetaCX, a high-growth venture backed software company focused on revolutionizing customer success. Prior to building MetaCX, he was CEO of the Salesforce Marketing Cloud, a role he assumed following Salesforce’s $2.7 billion acquisition of ExactTarget in 2014. Scott led ExactTarget’s product division through a successful IPO and eventual acquisition by Salesforce. Early in his career he served as Vice President of CRM Business Unit and then General Manager for Software Artistry, Inc., which completed a successful IPO in 1994. After Software Artistry was acquired by IBM, he served as vice president of IBM’s CRM product group. He left IBM in 1999 to co-found Mezzia Inc., a SaaS solution to manage large-scale capital spending, and he served in a variety of roles there including president. Scott is also chairman of multiple successful software companies across the nation and an unwavering advocate of the tech scene in Indiana. He also serves on the board of Amplero, the Indiana Chamber of Commerce, and the Central Indiana Corporate Partnership (CICP).
