Dave Wortman, Diagnotes Chairman and CEO

 Dave Wortman is Chairman, CEO and Co-founder of Diagnotes. An experienced executive and entrepreneur, Wortman serves as a director, advisor and CEO for emerging technology and life science companies, providing assistance in strategic planning, management development, fundraising and operations. Public companies, private companies, individual entrepreneurs and venture capital rms have bene ted from his guidance.

Wortman serves as a director of SonarMed, a medical device company providing a real-time breathing tube monitoring system, and InfraWare, a provider of healthcare documentation technology. He is a venture partner with Spring Mill Venture Partners and an advisor to ARCH Development Partners, rms focused on early stage technology and life science companies.
Wortman served as Chairman and CEO of Made2Manage Systems, a developer of enterprise business systems for small and midsize manufacturers and distributors. He led Made2Manage’s growth from a small venture-backed private company to a multi-million dollar public company. He subsequently took the company private in a transaction with Battery Ventures. He was also Chairman of Akoya, a software company delivering business intelligence solutions to manufacturers, CEO of Mezzia, a provider of capital spending management solutions to healthcare systems, and a co-founder of Pritsker Corporation, a leader in computer simulation-based decision support software.

Wortman was a director of Vastera, a publicly-held trade management solutions provider, until its sale to J.P. Morgan Chase. He was also a director of Cohesia, a software company delivering supply chain solutions to manufacturers, and Walker Information, a developer of customer loyalty management solutions. He was an advisor to ImmuneWorks, a biotechnology company developing therapies for autoimmune lung diseases. He is director emeritus and past chairman of the TechPoint Foundation for Youth, an organization providing access to STEM learning opportunities for underserved children in Indiana. He was a director of the Indiana 21st Century Research and Technology Fund and president of the Indiana Information Technology Association and the Institute of Industrial Engineers.

Wortman has received numerous honors during his career, including the Ernst & Young Indiana Entrepreneur of the Year Award in technology. He holds B.S. and M.S. degrees in industrial engineering from Purdue University.
