Ashley Vukovits Sharpen Technologies Inc CFO
Ashley Vukovits utilizes over 25 years of experience in accounting and finance and nearly 14 years of technology experience to lead corporate strategies by serving on Board of Directors and Advisory Committees, providing consulting services and investing in technology startups and funds in the Midwest.
Currently Ashley is consulting for Sharpen Technologies Inc as their CFO. In this role since August 2018, she is providing financial management, strategic direction and collaboration with the executive team. Ashley most recently assisted the CEO in raising $15 million of convertible debt to grow Sharpen’s business.
Prior to this work, Ashley spent nearly 14 years at Interactive Intelligence, a public technology company, serving as Chief Financial Officer, Senior Vice President of Administration, Secretary and Treasurer and prior to that as Vice President of Finance. During her tenure as CFO, she co-lead a successful sale of the company in a $1.4 billion transaction to take the company private.
Ashley held senior finance positions with Union Acceptance Corporation, a public auto finance company, and spent three years as an audit professional at KPMG LLP. Ashley is a 2016 Leading Light Leadership Award nominee and a 2015 Women of Influence Honoree.
Ashley is passionate about at-risk youth. She helped found the Interactive Intelligence Foundation, whose mission is to serve at-risk youth around the world, and served as their Treasurer for seven years. Ashley is on the Board of Nextech, a not-for-profit focused on bringing computer science classes to all school-age children in Indiana and is on the advisory council for Informatics: Diversity-Enhanced Workforce (iDEW), which offers computer science classes for select inter-city high schools in Indiana.
Ashley holds a bachelor’s degree with majors in accounting and finance from Miami University and she is a Certified Public Accountant.
